How many pages before a Reader chucks your script in the "clunk" file?
It used to be 20 Pages.
From the Readers perspective, 20 Pages is an eternity .
From the Writers perspective, it gets better. Too late...chuck...CLUNK !!!
Then it was 10 Pages. "You expect me to grab you in only 10 Pages?" Chuck...CLUNK !!!
Then it was 5 Pages. "Get serious. Five Pages?"
Now, it's ONE PAGE. If you don't get it done on page one, chuck...CLUNK !!!
The movie title, the character names, and the words you choose better set the Reader's hair on fire on page one. And the bad news is, you have to do that 104 more times.
Thanks for reading. Come back. As soon as I figure out how this all works I'll add links, files, and pictures.
Have fun writing,
